Since the beginning of the year, we have spent many hours on inko.us blogging our life away. This isn ‘t always a bad thing, I mean it’s an easy grade and all, granted, sometimes it could get a bit repetitive. I’ve sure seen my share of interesting stories, and inko.us has brought me many laughs. Even though we might not like it that much, there might be a tiny place in our hearts for it.
I still have to do that falicious arguements project. Is it hard?
Let’s face it, the 40 something inches of snow we had killed us. Mentally. It really didn’t help to wake up with 3 and 1/2 feet of snow in our front yard. But it helped me to appreciate this weather more.
It’s awesome that I can walk to school in shorts and a t-shirt, whereas a month and a half ago, I was shoveling a few feet of snow off the driveway. I even wore my awesome California tortilla shirt, and it got me a bunch of attention. California Tortilla should pay me to advertise for them, because I got a lot of people to head over there. Maybe I should get a job there?
But anyways, the transition from the cold weather to the warm weather is awesome. But then fall comes again and kinda ruins it. I always get pretty dissapointed when it goes to fall again, because I really don’t like the cold weather. I think I’m more suited for florida or someplace warm then someplace cold, like Minnesota(which I think is pretty cold).
Summer, no school, no worries, and no cold.
As put best in Napoleon Dynamite, “Vote for me and it will be summer all year round.”
Most of us are going through a pretty stressful time of year right now. Whether it’s the increased homework load, spring sports, you name it, we can get really stressed out. But I’ve noticed that one thing can really help. Music.
If I’m having a bad day, it really helps to plug in my headphones and crank up the tunes. You would really be suprised how much listening to music, or maybe playing the piano(or whatever your instrument is), can help. It seems that music is always there for me.
For me, music relieves all that stress that I have. Maybe it’s because the artists have experienced similar difficulty. Or it just brings peace to us. Whatever it is, music really helps me get through the day
So here it is. I figure if I get this part reviewed, then I can improve on the whole paper. What would be different about the United States if Abraham Lincoln had never been president? The country may be divided, or tainted by slavery. Few people truly understand the depth of his accomplishments within his lifetime. Even through the many ups and downs of his life, he proved to a very strong leader. The Election of Abraham Lincoln in 1860 was crucial to the stability of the US during the early 1860’s because had an excellent political career that helped him win the election, he guided the United States through the Civil War, and showed support and sympathy for the abolitionists.
